    Please join us to honor SDPA's 2024 award winners!  

    In March each year, the Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair (GSDSEF) is held in Balboa Park.  The event provides an opportunity for high school students to present projects on a variety of scientific topics.  SDPA's Science Fair Committee organizes the judging of psychology and behavioral science projects presented at the Fair and presents certificates and cash prizes to winners.  This event is attended by students, parents, teachers, psychologist judges, special guests and SDPA members who are present in support.

      Please note: Following the keynote, there are four workshops to choose from: two (simultaneously) starting in the morning and two (simultaneously) starting in the afternoon.  Each is offered for 3 CE credits, and each is divided by a break into Parts 1 and 2.  To receive 3 CE credits for each of these workshops, it is necessary to attend both Part 1 and Part 2 of the same workshop.  By attending the keynote and Parts 1 and 2 of the morning and afternoon workshops, 7 CE credits are available.

      CE Grievance Procedure
      SDPA is fully committed to conducting all activities in strict conformance with the APAs Ethical Principles of Psychologists.  SDPA will comply with all legal and ethical responsibilities to be non-discriminatory in promotional activities, program content and in the treatment of program participants.

      Attendance Policy: CE Credit and Certificates will not be issued to those who arrive later than 15 minutes or leave early from any course scheduled time. This policy is strictly enforced to ensure compliance with APA Guidelines.

      Cancellation Policy:  No refund will be given to any registered individual who is a no-show to a course. Any individual canceling within 72 hours of a course will be refunded 50% of the course fee.
                                                                            

      American Psychological Association
      The San Diego Psychological Association (SDPA) is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. SDPA maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

      LCSW, LFMT, LEP & LPCC
      In California, APA approved CE’s are valid for licensed psychologists, licensed school psychologists, LCSW, LMFT, LEP & LPCC licensees. Though APA is a national organization, the out of state licensee should check with their state governing board to make sure that APA approved CE'’s are valid in their state for their license.
