The Event Committees plan and coordinate the large events for the Association including the Brew Ha Ha!, Spring Workshop, Fall Conference, and Year End Celebration. The annual Brew Ha Ha! is a networking event that typically takes place at a local brewery or winery. The Year End Celebration is the end-of-year event in which the Board and Committee Chairs/Members are honored for their contributions during the year. The annual Awards and Recognitions for the Association are presented at this event. Finally, at this event the new Board is installed. The Committees work closely with any professional event coordinator hired by the Association and also with other relevant committees such as the Continuing Education Committee that manages/approves the speakers and course content for the Spring Workshop and Fall Conference. The Committees also work closely with the Marketing Committee that disseminates information about the events to the community and markets the events to potential attendees.
