2003  Steven Solomon, Ph.D.

During my year as President of the San Diego Psychological Association we had a very strong and effective board; it was a pleasure working with all of them.  We balanced the SDPA budget.  Also, we added to the Associations’ continuing education offerings as the process to get APA accreditation as a provider of continuing education was begun.  Our membership climbed this year to over 50% of the licensed psychologists in San Diego County.  We had great fun at our annual party at what is now the auditorium of the Scripps Research Institute, then the Neurosciences Institute, which was a wonderful venue.  Towards the end of the year the California Psychological Association named SDPA as the 2003 Chapter of the Year in California, which was very gratifying to all of us on the board.
