Committees are the work forces of our Association that carry out the SDPA Mission.  Committee members are dedicated to providing leadership and quality service to our members and to the public.  Operating committees are organized by topic such as Addictive Disorders, Aging Issues, Child, Youth and Family, etc. and produce programs within their topic areas.  In addition to the operating committees, SDPA has nine standing committees that are fundamental to the functioning of SDPA and are considered permanent.
