Eating disorders and disordered eating may exist within, exacerbate, or be a consequence of common chronic illnesses such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and cancer. Misinformation, food restriction, and weight cycling can promote malnutrition, frailty, and impair quality of life. This presentation will highlight common nutrition risks that may occur within the context of chronic disease management along with updated therapies and standards of care.
