"Practicums are the first step in becoming a psychologist," says Nabil El-Ghoroury, PhD, previous Associative Executive Director of the American Psychological Association Graduate Students. A practicum typically takes place in the earlier years of a student’s graduate program. Students work under supervised professionals at psychological sites to implement the skills they’ve learned in their coursework and program. This webinar series will feature Q&A from panelists to convey how students can navigate the practicum process and get the most from their practicum experience.
