SDPA Committee Event - Supervision Committee Meeting

SUPERVISION COMMITTEE

The purpose of the Supervision Committee is to provide an opportunity for psychologists and psychology students to discuss the practice of supervision and clinical training.  Members of the Committee will present cases to each other as a means of sharing new skills, techniques, and approaches that have proven to be effective.  Other relevant topics include the opportunities and obstacles in conducting student evaluations,  relevant legal updates, and changes in supervised professional experience requirements by Board of Psychology and Board of Behavioral Sciences. Each year, the Committee provides a free one-day training session to students at Alliant University on the basics of leading group psychotherapy.
