Jamie Moyer is an American former professional baseball pitcher. Over his 25-year career in Major League Baseball (MLB), Moyer pitched for the Chicago Cubs, Texas Rangers, St. Louis Cardinals, Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, Seattle Mariners, Philadelphia Phillies, and Colorado Rockies. He was inducted into the Mariners Hall of Fame in 2015. He played in the All-Star game in 2003. He won the World Series in 2008 while playing for the Philadelphia Phillies.
Jamie credits working with a well-known mental skills coach, Harvey Dorfman, in helping his to significantly improve his game when he was at a crossroads in his baseball career and he identifies the importance of using mental skills to help improve his performance.
