We will join for a private SDPA members event where speaker will explain how to engage in centering practice/secular contemplative prayer. These steps are:
1. Focus on intention of the centering practice. (is it a prayer to a deity or is it an intention setting practice?)
2. Focus on fulfilling relationships in your life. 2. Emit openness and let go of using proper semantics (not relying on using the proper words or having high standards for what is supposed to happen).
3. Think of something captivating with childlike wonder.
4. Feel the rhythm of this contemplative practice (the tendency for ideas to come and then sometimes only silence will prevail).
5. Analyze our response to these visualizations.m6. Ask individuals to share their experience with the group if they feel comfortable
