Adolescent Interpersonal Process Group
I am currently running an in-person interpersonal process group for adolescent clients aged 14-18 at our Carlsbad location. The intention of the group is to provide a safe space for teens to discover that they are not alone, seek support from others, and to learn more about themselves on a deeper level. As it is a process group, there are no pre-established topics or skills that we will be going over. Instead, the open-ended group format allows teens to discuss current challenges, thoughts, or areas where they need support. Common topics that come up are friendship/relationship issues, family conflicts, and mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation.
The group is open to new clients on an ongoing basis. There are 3 open spots (as of 11/1/25). It meets every Wednesday from 6:30-8 pm. Please visit https://coastaltherapygroup.com/group-belonging/ to learn more about the group and how to sign up or refer clients. I am a postdoctoral fellow under the clinical supervision of Reid Kessler, PsyD (Licensed Psychologist PSY29855).

Real Talk: Adult Interpersonal Process Group We are co-facilitating an in-person interpersonal process group for adults (ages 18+) at our Vista location. Real Talk is a weekly therapy group that offers a safe and dynamic space for adults to connect more deeply with themselves and others. Through honest conversation and reflection, members explore patterns in their relationships, practice vulnerability, and discover new ways of relating and communicating. The group is a Yalom-style process group—there are no preset topics or agendas. Instead, conversations flow from what members bring each week. Common themes include relationship challenges, life transitions, career stress, grief, anxiety, and self-esteem. Within this supportive environment, members have the opportunity to feel seen, practice authenticity, and experience meaningful connection. Meets: Mondays, 6:00–7:30 pm For more information or to refer a client, please visit https://coastaltherapygroup.com/real-talk-an-adults-process-group/ or contact us directly.
