This group is a wonderful place for individuals to practice being themselves and saying what they think and feel with others who support them and are trying to do the same. People share what’s on their minds, ranging from how they are managing anxiety to processing strained relationships. It can be a place where people first try something new, like asserting themselves when they feel dismissed by another group member or taking the risk to share something they have never shared before. People may join the group for a number of reasons, such as struggles forming or maintaining close relationships, social anxiety, discomfort advocating for themselves, difficulty trusting others, or just a desire for connection. |
